Mary Beth Glaccum entered the finance industry in 1996 and has concentrated on all areas of business development including analyzing investments, product development, and raising significant capital for a range of alternative investment strategies.
Ms. Glaccum is currently a Managing Director at Castle Hill Capital Partners, a placement agent in New York City. Castle Hill specializes in working with specialist strategies in less competitive markets where our clients have a definable investment edge. Current engagements include liquid discretionary commodities, venture capital and specialty finance.
From 2007-2015, Ms. Glaccum led Business Development and Investor Relations at Lucas Capital Management, LLC an asset management firm with private wealth, hedged and private equity offerings. Ms. Glaccum was responsible for developing and maintaining global client relationships across an asset base that was $1.7 billion at peak. Prior to Lucas, Ms. Glaccum worked in Investor Relations at Ospraie Management, LLC from 2005 to 2007 and Brencourt Advisors from 2000 to 2005. Earlier in her career, Ms. Glaccum worked at Fortis Advisors and Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst. Ms. Glaccum graduated with a B.A. in Management and Marketing, Magna cum laude, from Felician College.
Ms. Glaccum is active in a number of industry organizations including 100 Women in Finance. Other affiliations include working closely with The Ireland Funds and the Jersey Shore Running Club. Ms. Glaccum was awarded 2010 Irish Voice Newspaper Top 50 Most Influential Woman, for work with The American Ireland Funds and Concern. Ms. Glaccum continues working on various committees for The Ireland Funds and visited Ireland in 2012 with a US State Department delegation to promote innovation and entrepreneurship. Ms. Glaccum founded the Jersey Shore Gaelic Athletic Association to help promote Irish sports. Ms. Glaccum is a long-time resident of Red Bank, NJ.
